1. Services

Varlixo Studio provides website design and development services to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs, including landing pages, business websites and custom website projects. All services are delivered remotely. The specific scope of each project is set out in the agreed project scope described below.

2. Project scope

Before work begins, the scope of a project is agreed with the client. The scope describes the pages, sections, functionality and deliverables included in the project, together with its price and delivery schedule. The final project scope and delivery schedule are confirmed before work begins.

Work outside the agreed project scope — such as additional pages, features, content creation, paid software, hosting, or domain registration — is not included unless otherwise agreed and may be quoted separately.

3. Client responsibilities

The client is expected to provide the information, content, feedback and approvals reasonably needed to complete the project on schedule. This includes, where relevant:

• Project goals and background information
• Text, images and branding materials
• Timely feedback during review stages
• A point of contact who can make decisions
• Access to accounts or services needed for the project, where applicable

4. Payment

Package pricing is published on the website in HKD. Payment terms are confirmed before work begins. Services are paid for online, or as otherwise agreed for larger custom projects, typically through structured milestones. Work on a project begins once the applicable payment arrangements have been made.

5. Revisions

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds, as described on the pricing page. Reasonable revision requests within that scope are included. Additional revision rounds, or changes that expand the project scope, may require additional fees agreed in advance.

6. Delivery timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided for each package and confirmed before work begins. Timelines are estimates based on a normal, uninterrupted flow of materials and feedback. Actual delivery may be adjusted if the project scope changes or if the client is slow to provide materials or feedback.

7. Delays caused by missing client materials

If a project is delayed because required materials, content or feedback are not provided by the client, the delivery timeline may be extended accordingly. Varlixo Studio is not responsible for delays caused by missing client materials or third-party service providers.

8. Third-party services

Projects may involve third-party services, platforms, software, fonts, libraries or tools, such as hosting, domain registration, form services or payment processors. These are provided by their respective providers and are governed by their own terms and licenses. Varlixo Studio is not responsible for the availability, pricing or policy changes of third-party services.

9. Intellectual property

Client-specific final deliverables become available to the customer once the applicable project fees have been paid in full, except for third-party assets, libraries, software, fonts, licenses, or tools governed by their respective licenses.

Varlixo Studio retains the right to show project work in its portfolio, unless the parties agree otherwise in advance.

10. Cancellation

Clients may cancel a project by notifying Varlixo Studio in writing (by email). Cancellation terms follow the refund policy. Once a project is delivered and final payment is made, the engagement is considered complete.

11. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the refund policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, payments may be fully refundable if cancelled before work begins (excluding agreed third-party costs), and are assessed according to completed work after work has begun.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varlixo Studio's liability under these Terms is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the project concerned. Varlixo Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Changes to terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued engagement with Varlixo Studio after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
